Guest Moderator, Christopher Schwarz.

I am incredibly excited about this month's guest moderator, someone who I thought would be the final get, the white whale. Maybe after months of begging, he would finally oblige and impart upon us his knowledge. This is not the case, Christopher Schwarz has been exceedingly kind with his time in helping me with this endeavor despite seeming to be the busiest man in woodworking, not only an accomplished woodworker, author, and editor, he is also one of the founders of the publishing company,  Lost Art Press along with the ever specific tool manufacturer Crucible Tool. Chris has an impressive teaching resume and editing portfolio that includes “The Intelligent Hand” by David Binnington Savage. Luckily for us, Chris will be joining us at our next book club meeting on Sunday, March 2nd. 6:00 PM EST. to discuss what is becoming one of my favorite books. I will leave you with a quote from the forward of this book, “I consider this book, like his furniture, an almost impossible gift. It is unexpected, challenging and – if you will let it into your heart – rewarding. All of us at Lost Art Press are honored to have worked with David and the staff at Rowden on this remarkable project. And now, we are happy to share it with you” -Christopher Schwarz August 2018.

I know we have enough reading to do this month but if you are like me and need to be consuming information at all times you can listen to this episode of Shop Talk Live featuring Chris. Also check out The American Peasant on Substack
