A message to the new subscribers.

Welcome new subscribers and hello fellow bookworms. I am so happy that we have gained so many new subscribers in the last couple days, I have noticed the enthusiasm for Nancys book and want to give everyone a chance to read with no rush. So im going to postpone the first meeting to Sunday Feb 9th. Hopefully giving enough time for everyone.

Also, if you visit the discord, there is a channel for book recommendations where you can let us know your favorite woodworking related book and help us choose future titles and create enough of a buffer to order and read in time for the meetings.

Another update for the first meeting, the guest moderator has been confirmed and will be announced tomorrow! I am very excited to hear their experience with this book and author and I'm sure we will get some great stories from them.

I will leave you with a passage from “Making Things Work” that really spoke to why i do what i do as a woodworker and i think y’all might like it.
